1. Foundation
Objectives:
1. Acquainting the puppies with the house.
2. Build a lifted foundation, for protection from flowing water and crawling insects.
Solutions:
1. Gave them toys and blankets to play with for a week and then placed those toys and blankets inside the house.
2. Used the rocks available on the street and the Ply left from home renovation.
2. Adaptation
Objectives (After a week's study):
1. Prevent mosquitos from entering the house.
2. Facilitate cooling in the day time.
3. Create more space for six rapidly growing puppies.
Solutions:
1. Netting around the house and a flap entry.
2. Old-school cooler mechanism for the whole house.
3. A ground floor room.
3. Aesthetics
Objectives:
1. Sturdier ground floor (Phase 2 was destroyed by pigs)
2. Experimental Balcony
3. Rain water protection for ground floor room.
Solutions:
1. Scrap metal sheet from nearby construction site.
2. Huge advertisement Flex from trash.
3. Packaging crate for a previously ordered DIY rack.
4. Safety
Objectives:
1. Boundary wall for protection from Pigs
2. Shade to keep drinking water cool.
Solutions:
1. Junk items, a log piece and some framework.
5. Aftermath
Sometime during the Phase 5, all of the puppies caught a street infection called "Gastritis" and I lost 5 of them: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Darling and Echo to it. Fox survived and still lives on the street in front of my house.
